The Promises of God….

Hello everyone!

I would be less than a woman if I didn’t apologize for not blogging. I can’t blame this on anyone but myself. The Spirit has been telling me to blog. Now that the prelimanaries are out of the way let’s move on.

You know, when God gives us a job to do He intends for it to be done the way He said, when He said and how He said. Let me tell you, I am a living testimony that can attest to God’s goodness, grace and mercy! But also to His chastisment.

A little over three years ago God began to birth something in me that I had no clue to its magnitude! In 2007 God birted the Deliverance Crusade through me. This was a three day, nonstop preaching, teaching, loving on the people weekend. I thought when the weekend was over my task was over. Little did I know, that was just the beginning. God began to show me how He wanted a 24 hour church that housed 24 hour ministries. This church though is like non other. This church is a collaboration of the body of Christ. This church is supported by the body of Christ acting together to accomplish one single goal, KINGDOM BUILDING. What is Kingdom Building? It is the great comission (Matthew 28:19-20) in action. It is the manifestation of doing for the least of them (Matthew 25:35-40). It is understanding that everyone has his/her individual part to do within the whole of the Body of Christ and only when we WORK TOGETHER will the body grow (Ephesians 4:1-16).

I have tried to birth this vision but without the Body coming together, I am spinning my wheels. I have asked the Lord our God to allow me to work and finance the church and the ministries but He continues to tell me ‘NO’. I am continually told that this is the body coming together, financially, physically and spiritually. Not one or the other. For those that have a ministry inside of them or actually walking in it, this pertains to you also. We are all called to sow seeds for reaping a harvest. Neglecting to do this within the body of Christ but outside of our own selfish pot causes a  slow harvest.

“Neglect is enough to ruin a man. A man who is in business need not commit forgery or robbery to ruin himself; he has only to neglect his business, and his ruin is certain. A man who is lying on a bed of sickness need not cut his throat to destroy himself; he has only to neglect the means of restoration, and he will be ruined. A man floating in a skiff above Niagara, need not move an oar or make an effort to destroy himself; he has only to neglect using the oar at the proper time, and he will certainly be carried over the cataract. Most of the calamities of life are caused by simple neglect. By neglect of education, children grow up in ignorance; by neglect, a farm grows up to weeds and briars ; by neglect, a house goes to decay; by neglect of sowing, a man will have ho harvest; by neglect of reaping, the harvest would rot in the fields. No worldly interest can prosper where there is neglect; and why may it not be so in religion? There is nothing in earthly affairs, that is valuable, that will not be ruined if it is not attended to; and why may it not be so with the concerns of the soul? Let no one infer, therefore, that because he is not a drunkard, or an adulterer, or a murderer, that therefore he will be saved. Such an inference would be as irrational as it would be for a man to infer, that because he is not a murderer his farm will produce a harvest, or that because he is not an adulterer, therefore his merchandise will take care of itself. Salvation would be worth nothing if it cost no effort; and there will be no salvation where no effort is put forth.—Barnes’ Notes on the New Testament”

All in all people, I need your financial support in the form of tithes and offerings as well as your physical and spiritual help. Step up and out of RELIGION and step into what God wants in this time from us that we may reap the harvest He has for us.

Afraid to ask for help, I am not anymore. That pride thing, where I was always the lender has been squashed! God has me in a place where I must make you understand how important it is not to hold on to what He is telling you to release.

Do it now! Do it today! Please! Matthew 25:14 – 30 tells us the ‘parable of talents’. One way to look at this is to see how the two servants with mutiple talents were not afraid to ‘take a chance’ with maximizing the owner’s fortune, but the one who had only one was so scared of losing that one that he did nothing to try to increase it. He did not trust in the law of sowing and reaping. He did not trust in THE LORD to increase what he’d sow. Don’t be tight handed because you believe it’s never coming around again. Trust in the LORD and do what goes against the grain. Do what God says do! Please! EXPAND!!!

Hello family! I have been at a lost for text lately. I’ve been so full that I couldn’t blog on any one thing. Had I blogged it would have become a book! Well, that broke this morning and I pray that now when I log on I will be able to decipher what the Lord wants me to share and what He wants me to hold.

This morning I visited Omega Ministries which is being discipled under the immediate direction of Apostle Jeff Weathersby. Now come with me as I give what I learned from this great man of the Gospel.

The message was “Expand” taken from Luke 5:36-39. He started off telling us that we need to expand and the only way we can do that is by settling the past. The man of God told us that just because we got saved, didn’t mean our bodies did. (That’s why there’s a constant war yall) See, (and this is me now) the Word of God tells us in Matthew 26:41 that “the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak” meaning our spirit man wants to do what is right and just but the flesh man is constantly kicking against that and we must be careful not to let the spirit (which is saved) be overtaken by the flesh(which is not).  O.k. which brings us to Luke 5:36 And he spake also a parable unto them: No man rendeth a piece from a new garment and putteth it upon an old garment; else he will rend the new, and also the piece from the new will not agree with the old. ” – Can you see it, our new spirit in this old body? They don’t match, they don’t agree!

The the man of God went on to say, that we may have some ‘mold’ that we need to clean up and then change our game plan. (my interpretation on what he said) He used the example of how the bread may be sitting there then one day you look at it and green stuff is everywhere. He continued to explain how he opened the bread and examined it and it was green and crusty (hard) around the edges, but still soft on the inside! That’s us (the new us) our new spirit inside the old hard, mad, unforgiving, selfish, arrogant, self-centered, think we the bomb outside shell! Yes God wants us to be confident and proud to be a Christian, but He doesn’t want us to be what we were in the world. God wants to take what we were in the world (which is what everyone still sees) and transform that too. He wants us to be new on the inside and OUT! As this transformation is being made we must change our game plan so that the opposing team (Satan) can’t use our past plays (the old us) to win against us.

Now, how do we change the game plan you say! Well this part was already part of me when he said it. We’ve talked about it before on the blog…..YOU MUST BE HEALED! Healed, not physically, but spiritually, emotionally, mentally! You must let go of all the stuff from your past. If you need to go and truly forgive someone – do it! If you need to confess some stuff – do it! If you need to correct some stuff – do it! Whatever is holding you in bondage from your past correct it so that you may be new inside and out! Only then can you EXPAND without bursting as it is explained to us in Luke 5:37  And no man putteth new wine into old wine-skins; else the new wine will burst the skins, and itself will be spilled, and the skins will perish.”

The Bible tells us in Luke 5:38 But new wine must be put into fresh wine-skins” meaning we’ve got to change inside and out (because the world looks at our outter appearance before our inner) that we may be new creatures in Christ. Why? Again because the spirit and flesh war against each other and the flesh will tell you (as in Luke 5:39 And no man having drunk old wine desireth new; for he saith, The old is good”) because the flesh doesn’t want change, it’s content and happy where it is. Don’t settle! God has so much more for you if you are WILLING to EXPAND so that He may tear down the walls and begin the process for EXPANSION! Give God your yes and watch Him work!
